With its humble beginnings in 1982, Indian Summer Honey Farm was established by Chris Werner. The business has flourished from the sideline business that it grew into in 1987 when Chris married Becky, with the 1,200 hives that were resident to Wisconsin. Together with God’s help and the help of their ever expanding family, they have watched the family business develop into what Indian Summer Honey Farm is today; an operation of 4,000 hives migrating between Wisconsin and Florida. The family owned and run business produces hundreds of barrels of artisan raw and unfiltered honey during the lovely summer months in Wisconsin, and raises thousands of queens for sale in Florida during the winter months.
